Kris Trans 2023 Rebranding

In a sector flooded with outdated and look-alike visuals, Kristion set out to redefine what a transport brand can look and feel like.

Kristion is a modern transport company specializing in the delivery of heavy inert materials (like gravel, sand, and stone). The goal we aimed? To build a brand that feels bold, trustworthy, and engineered for movement.From naming and strategy to a full brand identity system, this project balances strength with simplicity, and precision with boldness.

Naming

The original name of the company Kris Trans, reflected a typical naming convention found in the industry - a combination of the owner's name and a generic reference to transportation. However, during our research phase, it became clear that this type of name was not only overused, but also lacked the memorability and modern appeal necessary to stand out in a saturated market.

I approached the renaming process with the goal of preserving a link to the founder's identity, clearly reflecting the core service - transportation and crafting a distinctive, modern, and scalable brand name. After exploring various directions, the result was Kristion: a combination between "Kris" and the suffix "-tion" drawn from the word transportation. The name feels bold, reliable, and industrial, while remaining short, original, and professional which is ideal for a contemporary transport brand.

Logo concept

The Kristion logo combines strength and movement. At its core lies a bold, industrial-style monogram “K”, constructed with clean geometry and directional intent. But the mark isn’t just a letter. It's a symbolic system that subtly forms dual arrows, one pointing down to represent delivery, and one up cleverly formed through negative space, reflecting return. Together, these elements subtly illustrate the brand’s purpose - transporting inert materials from point A to point B. Paired with heavy-weighted, solid typography, tailored with precise cuts to harmonize with the angular nature of the mark, the identity feels durable, directional, and distinctly modern - perfect for standing out in a crowded logistics market.
